Professional Experience
Materials FEA Research Assistant
Purdue University
As a member of the Koslowski research group, I utilized multi-physics based finite element models to analyze the effects of microstructure variability on plasticity and fracture response. One area of focus was analyzing high stress regions and resulting formation of thermal hotspots for materials subjected to shock-based loading.

Thesis: Effect of Microstructure Resolution in Finite Element Modeling of Heterogeneous Materials
Aug 2023 - Aug 2025
Suspension Design Engineering Intern
Woodridge, IL
I assumed primary project ownership of a suspension redesign project, achieving a 15% increase in dynamic component ground clearance. Using Siemens NX, I developed a complete suspension system model that strengthened my design packaging skills. Additionally, I collaborated with the elastomer R&D department to develop bushing designs in alignment with ride performance, spatial, and material constraints.

Engineering Intern
Toronto, Canada
As a summer intern I wore multiple hats, gaining exposure to a wide range of company operations. I contributed to numerous automation projects based around C# and Python scripts, including identifying and developing a documentation generation program that saved sales associates over 100 hours. I also called downstream distributors to pitch new products and worked with R&D to analyze acoustical data, calibrating performance for current products.
